 In this next generation role-playing game set amongst the stars,  create any character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom as  you embark on an epic journey to answer humanity's greatest mystery. Starfields story takes place in and around a region of space known as the settled systems:  a 50 light year radius of human expansion around our own solar system.  It's divided up between two major factions—the United Colonies and the Freestar Collective, who are at an uneasy peace after a recent war.
